Snaps from the season finale

Final race of the year for the NTT IndyCar Series and we save one of the best tracks for last. The Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca completes Hinchcliffe’s ninth season in the series and fifth with Arrow SPM.

Hinchcliffe returns to one of his favorite tracks on the NTT INDYCAR schedule

I think if you were to poll the drivers, Road America would consistently be the favorite road course for most of the field. We’re really excited to get back there. Last year we had a strong race. The result might not show it, but after a bad first pit stop due to a fuel probe issue, the Arrow car was great and we were able to pick up a lot of time and track positions. We’re hoping that we can roll off the trucks with a strong car and bring home a good result.”

Double header in Detroit

It’s double the amount of fun this weekend as we return to the streets for the Chevrolet Grand Prix of Detroit.
After a successful Indianapolis 500 last weekend, moving 21 spots from 32nd to 11th, Hinchcliffe is hoping to continue that strong momentum this weekend in Detroit.

103rd Indianapolis 500

This is the race that every IndyCar driver and team look forward to all year. It’s the biggest one-day sporting event in the world and its more than a race its a spectacle, the “Greatest Spectacle in Racing”.

Qualifying, May 18-19, has a slightly different format this year. Everyone will make one attempt at qualifying on Saturday and positions 10-30 will be locked in.
On Sunday the last row (positions 31-33) will get their chance to earn their place in the starting line-up, however there will be six cars fighting for three spots, so bumping will also occur. An hour later the Fast Nine will start and the pole position along with the other 8 spots will be determined.

The 103rd Indianapolis 500 will take place on Sunday May 24th. The race will be broadcast for the first time on NBC from 11:00 a.m. ET.

Kicking off the month of May with the INDYCAR Grand Prix

“The Indy GP means the month of May is here. This month is something we look forward to all year. Since they added the Grand Prix to the start of May back in 2014, I think it’s been an awesome addition to the calendar and a great way to kickstart the month.” says Hinchcliffe.

The magic of the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach

This is one of the longest running street races on the NTT IndyCar calendar and is almost as prestigious as the Indianapolis 500. Two years ago Hinchcliffe won this event and is looking to continue the momentum they had at Barber last week for this weekend.
