Fastest lap little consolation for Hinchcliffe after first lap contact

“We got hit on Lap 1 which put us two laps down with a bent car. Obviously not ideal with no yellows… We didn’t get a chance to get our laps back which is unfortunate because we had fastest lap of the race, so the No. 5 Arrow car was quick but didn’t get a chance to show it today.”

Qualified: 11th (Round 2 – 65.7567 seconds)
Finished: 22nd
Standings: 10th (287 points)

Hinchcliffe returns to one of his favorite tracks on the NTT INDYCAR schedule

I think if you were to poll the drivers, Road America would consistently be the favorite road course for most of the field. We’re really excited to get back there. Last year we had a strong race. The result might not show it, but after a bad first pit stop due to a fuel probe issue, the Arrow car was great and we were able to pick up a lot of time and track positions. We’re hoping that we can roll off the trucks with a strong car and bring home a good result.”

Under the lights in Texas

Under the lights at Texas Motor Speedway, the DXC Technology 600 always creates some exciting racing. Hinchcliffe returns to this 1.5-mile oval with some unfinished business after missing out on the win by .008 seconds in 2016!! Can he add Texas to his victory list this weekend? Tune in to NBCSN on Saturday June 8 at 8:00pm ET to find out.

Double header in Detroit

It’s double the amount of fun this weekend as we return to the streets for the Chevrolet Grand Prix of Detroit.
After a successful Indianapolis 500 last weekend, moving 21 spots from 32nd to 11th, Hinchcliffe is hoping to continue that strong momentum this weekend in Detroit.

Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama

From when the No. 5 Arrow Schmidt Peterson Motorsports Honda machine rolled off the truck on Friday, Hinchcliffe was top of the speed charts in practice. A small mistake in qualifying on Saturday mean’t he would start the race from 4th, but being on the second row was still huge at Barber Motorsports Park, where passing is hard. What will happen in the race? Tune-In to NBCSN at 3:00pm CT to find out!
